Biography
Kinjal R. Patel, MD, FASN, FACP, is a board-certified nephrologist and internal medicine specialist. He earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine; completed residency training in internal medicine at Georgetown University Hospital and fellowship training in nephrology at the same institution.
At Virginia Nephrology Group, Dr. Patel provides comprehensive care for patients with kidney disease, with a strong focus on chronic kidney disease and hypertension. He has published articles on oxidative stress and hypertension. He also serves as Assistant Professor of Medical Education at the University of Virginia School of Medicine.
