Biography
Paul S. Modlinger, MD, FASN, is a board-certified nephrologist. He earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine; completed residency training in internal medicine at the University of Pennsylvania; and completed fellowship training in nephrology at Georgetown University.
Dr. Modlinger provides comprehensive care for patients with kidney disease, with a strong focus on chronic kidney disease and hypertension. He also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Virginia.
Dr. Modlinger’s care philosophy is grounded in quality and satisfaction: “My goals are always to provide top quality kidney care and ensure excellent customer satisfaction. I always make prompt communication with patients a priority.”
He has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Washingtonian Magazine and Northern Virginia Magazine. He is an active member of the American Society of Nephrology. Outside of medicine, he enjoys skiing, traveling, weightlifting, and running. Dr. Modlinger is from Livingston, NJ.
